Called this morning before I headed over, in a car with a bad alternator, to make sure of directions. Good thing as Google maps were showing the old location they had been in for 47 years...not their NEW location, which is 2 miles past the Highway Patrol/DMV post on Highway 80!!! Joe Roddie was so helpful! He got me in right away, tested it and got the alternator installed. This is a family-run (over 47 years!) business that initially did fix big trucks. Now they handle complete auto and light truck (up to 1 ton) service. Why doesn't Google allow a service business to accurately classify itself in the proper category, "automotive repair"? Yes, the name says Mac's Truck Service, but they also say, "complete auto and light truck service." They are a 47 year old trusted brand with a long line of faithful clients that any small businesses would envy.

Our Christmas story was turning out to be more chaotic than the Griswald Christmas, when Joe, Zeke, and Ethan helped us out more than we could ask for. On our near 8 hour trip from Tennessee to Louisiana the day before Christmas Eve, we ended up having a crack in our air compressor. In what should have been a 7 hour maintenance with all the extra repairs needed to keep us safe, they got us out in half the time! The owner even offered to drive us to go get lunch as we were waiting. The prices were more than fair for an emergency repair, and if we lived in Meridian, Mac’s would get our service every time! Thank yall!

While passing thru town while traveling we were referred to Mac’s to help with our sudden AC failure. They could not have been nicer. Unfortunately my husbands car is a Volvo and the repairs were to extensive. If we lived closer I would trust them for all my cars needs!
